A recent survey amongst European subscribers to the Solheim Cup newsletters showed that over 80% would consider travelling to The 2013 Solheim Cup at Colorado GC. An overwhelming 87% stated their primary reason would be to support Team Europe in retaining the Cup for the first time on US soil.

As part of the survey all completed questionnaires were put into a random draw. The Ladies European Tour are delighted to announce the winner is, Wendy Durant, a member at Moor Park with a handicap of 16. She was thrilled to receive a very unique prize of a commerative 2011 Solheim Cup Putter produced by PING. Wendy and her husband also a keen golfer had travelled across to the matches at Killeen Castle to see the historic European victory. They are now planning on their trip to Colorado for 2013!

Wendy dropped past the Ladies European Tour offices to receive the putter and also have her photograph taken with The Solheim Cup.
